![]() Marianne Touchie (too-she) is an Assistant Professor jointly appointed in the Departments of Civil & Mineral Engineering, and Mechanical & Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto and Director of the Building Energy and Indoor Environment Lab. Her research focuses on the performance of multi-family buildings, particularly social housing. In this episode we get into ways to deal with stack effect in high-rise buildings, how to deal with the psychology of occupants (of a building) and Marianne also shares some great advice for any young people looking to get into this type of work.
