Shawn Bowser was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He grew up there and relocated to Ottawa in 2007.

Shawn began his career in construction with the intent of getting general construction experience before starting a electrical apprenticeship. Once working day to day as a carpenters helper, he quickly realized his appreciation for woodworking & fine carpentry and decided to begin his carpentry apprentice with The Conscious Builder.

His interests include woodworking, camping, reading, and music. He is a Bassist & Vocalist in the alternative/indie rock band, Legion of Saints. Shawn is also the sole operator of Electric Fire Pedalboards, an Ottawa based company making quality-handmade pedalboards for working & recreational musicians.
