Ryan graduated from the 2 year course Heritage Carpentry & Millwork from Algonquin College in 2003 and spent 2 years working for Teixiera Construction, an award winning builder from Westport. From there he worked for one specialist after another, striving to learn everything about homebuilding from people that had become experts in their field. Earning his Red Seal in 2012, he went on to explore the commercial side and even played a part in large government projects such as the NAC, GCC, National Bank of Canada, West Memorial, and the Indigenous Peoples Building. Before joining The Conscious Builder, Ryan spent some years working for a renovation company that excelled in unusual projects and adaptability.
Now part of the Conscious Builder team, Ryan is looking to put his 20 years of knowledge and experience to the test in making the most advanced and healthy homes in Canada. When not practicing his craft, Ryan spends his evenings playing with his 2 kids, spending time in the kitchen, or discovering a new hobby. With a passion for understanding how things work he is a professional amature in about a dozen different hobbies, owns an extensive boardgame collection, brews honey wine and hard cider, and is always ready to discuss geek culture. |
