AJ Oickle was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, and eventually attended Algonquin College Perth campus, where he received a diploma as a Construction Carpentry and Renovation Technician.

During his studies, he realized his passions for both building science and the art of carpentry, which led him to the high end residential construction industry where he pursued positions with top builders such as BlueLine Contracting, CBN, And Modern Concept Contracting. AJ honed his skills in the Sea To Sky Corridor of BC, known for its beautiful western architecture and logistical complexities. His goals are to grow his skills in the management and business side of the industry with TCB, and to eventually build his own world class custom homes.

On the coast, AJ realized his third passion for rock climbing and the adventurous spirit only found in the mountains. He spends his weekends frequenting popular hiking and climbing destinations such as the Laurentides, the Adirondacks, and the Shawangunk Mountains.
